Piramide Blanca, Pequeno Alpamayo & Huayna Potosi Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to La Paz, Bolivia arriving early am on second day.

Day 2 : Rest and acclimate at the lower end of town, 10,800’

Day 3 : Acclimate and purchase supplies for first two mountains

Day 4 : Sightseeing around Lake Titicaca 12,600’ acclimate at slightly higher elevations. Sleep on an island in Lake Titicaca and hike across island for more acclimating at 12,900- 13,400’

Day 5 : Return to La Paz and stay at hotel for one evening 11,600’

Day 6 : Drive out to Tuni and camp 14, 517’ or acclimate for one more day if necessary

Day 7 : 3 hour trek to basecamp in Condoriri group 15,100’

Day 8 : Practice snow climbing skills and crevasse rescue techniques 15,300’

Day 9 : Additional acclimating day if necessary or climb Piramide Blanca 17,159’

Day 10 : Further acclimating by hiking around this beautiful area.

Day 11 : Climb Pequena Alpamayo 17,618’

Day 12 : Return to Tuni, and drive to Huayna Potosi .

Day 13 : Climb to Huayna Potosi Argentine camp. 16,900’

Day 14 : Climb Huayna Potosi (19,979’) return to Mulluni for evening

Day 15 : 2 mountain group fly home / Four mountain group head for Ilimani

Day 16 : Climb to high camp on Ilimani

Day 17 : Summit Illimani 21,125’

Day 18 : Return to La Paz

Day 19 : Fly home
