Costa Rica Multi-Adventure Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to San Jose, Costa Rica. Trans to Hampton Inn for evening

Day 2 : Early breakfast. Travel to Ana’s Villa after breakfast. Ana’s Villas is in San Rafael with Toucans and other exotic birds wandering about.

Day 3 : Depart to Manuel Antonio National Park. Afternoon ocean activities such as Swimming, Beach Hiking, Sunbathing, etc. Evening dinner by the ocean and cottage lodging in the Quinta Cabanas.

Day 4 : Hiking and exploration of Manuel Antonio National Park where we will view Monkeys, Coatamundis, Iguanas, Exotic Birds. Beachcombing and optional swimming. Stay another night at Quinta Cabanas.

Day 5 : Visit Carara Reserve and view Scarlet Macaws in their natural environment. Very early morning start to Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. Lodging in Santa Elana for the evening.

Day 6 : Hiking and Guided Tours of the Cloud Forest with a biologist and wildlife expert. Bird viewing of the magnificent Resplendant Quetzal and other birds of the Cloud Forest, including many varieties of hummingbirds. Horseback riding in Monte Verde ( 2 hour sunset ride with great scenery! ) Lodging at Arco Iris.

Day 7 : Drive to Volcan Arenal. Visit Hot Springs below volcano. Visit the National Park and evening viewing of the volcano’s eruptions. Stay at Paradiso Cabanas.

Day 8 : Early morning hiking in the Rainforest. Drive to Alajuela. Evening celebration dinner. San Jose Accommodations for evening.

Day 9 : Fly home in the morning
