Anyone who is climbing lead climbs with a partner needs to know what to do if the person either leading, seconding, or belaying is injured from a fall, falling rocks, or from any other unforeseen cause. This extensive one-day course will help prepare you for such an emergency. Escaping belays, self-belays, prussiking, using ascenders, and backing up rappels will all be covered and practiced in this detailed one day course. This course is offered any day of the week, April through mid November. This is one of those classes that we consider vital to have under your belt before venturing out with a friend, no matter how experienced they are. Email us to schedule this for you.
